Omeshi Lush Kimono Silk Fabric RT63
Vintage Japanese Silk Kimono Fabric
Omeshi Lush
Omeshi Silk -a traditional Japanese crepe weave known for its firm texture and matte finish. Unlike glossy silks, omeshi has a distinctive, wool-like touch (not itchy type) that makes it durable and gives the fabric a beautifully structured feel.
(The word "Omeshi" is an honorific term meaning "wear", and it came from the 11th Tokugawa Shogunate, Ienari, who loved to wear it - Omeshi kimono is a kimono that you wear on special occassions but not formal kimono)
High Quality Silk
Medium Weight (little thicker than my usual medium)
Big Pastel Flowers
